Heather Ostrom is a lifelong watercolor painter and ceramicist from Palo Alto. She draws inspiration from the beauty of the Coastal Foothills and Monterey, as well as the Big Island of Hawaii. Polynesian Tiki statues are a favorite subject due to their fierce expressions and mystical properties. As an Art and Drama teacher, Heather has been instructing and encouraging students for the past nine years. She and her husband and two children live in Palo Alto, Ca.
